It is easy to use and read. However, the "E" factors assigned to different materials need some calibration for a true temperature measurement. For example, setting a factor of 0.95 in the instructions, the water boils at around 95 degrees C. Reset E=90, and the water temperatures of 100 C boiling and forehead are the same as any other remote reading I have effects exposed.
