Glue is better than glue

Update 1/20205 Years later, the box finally lost its footing. This is absolutely my fault as I had to replace a dried out box a few years ago. No big deal, there are 3 more. Just replace the box every few years and you'll never get blocked! Unfortunately, I didn't realize he wasn't there until they locked me up. But that's why you have friends with crowbars to break down your door and stick a metal bar in to push the unlock button, right? Update: 11/18 Still using this little box. on my next car. It's been running for 3 years and I've never had any problems. I can always count on him to be there when I'm a little blunt and put the key in the ignition. Any product that lasts 3 years out and gets wet and dirty is a win in my book. I've locked myself in my car the whole time since the dealer got new Ford keys that cost about $200. I finally made one but found I had nowhere to keep the key when I locked myself away from home. This little box is great! Like the other reviewer, I taped it for a few days before inserting the key to make sure it stayed in place and it did a great job. I found a spot in the rear bumper where it couldn't be found, but it was hard for me to fly out. I've left the box there while riding off-road, riding in the snow and just riding on the road. It's covered in dirt and grime but still holds on. It holds what it is meant for, the key and maybe something else small. In mine I put a lighter, a small knife, and the keys to the Ford, along with paper to keep it from rattling or making noise. It is not waterproof, whatever is placed in it must not be damaged by water. Can't speak to years of use, but after a few weeks of heavy hitting it worked fine.
