Originally used router with integrated reverse modem. I had to use two extension cords to cover the corners of the house. Have multiple users, each with multiple devices, connected to Wi-Fi. Bought hoping to improve range and connectivity for all users and in the future also for newer AX and MU-MIMO devices. Setting up the Dlink router was easy. I first had to redo the settings on the Uverse router to disable Uverse Wi-Fi and enable modem signal transmission to the Dlink router. The range has been greatly improved. Internet traffic appears to move faster without gaps or buffering.
