Review on Trillium Worldwide 12 Volt Heated Blanket by Jesus Jenkins

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Doesn't get hot, don't worry if you live in a cold climate.

I read the good and bad reviews and took a chance. I let it run for 45 minutes in 20 degrees on the way into town, even in the cold. It doesn't get much warmer than a plain blanket unless you wrap it around your arms and double or triple it. There was no warmth in my knees. I felt a little warmth when I squeezed the blanket between my fingers just above the wire, and then barely. The blanket is made from 2 layers of polar fleece and the wires are loosely strung between them with no quilting or any means of securing the wires in a specific location such as at the bottom. B. a large bag to hold. Without real contact, the heat will likely just escape rather than keep you warm (if there was any at all). Finally sent it back. This was intended to be an additional source of warmth for the commuter car in the winter for emergencies (alongside the sleeping bags already provided) and via the small dog house in the car if we had to leave them in the car. The dog would freeze with this thing.

Pros
  • Safety timer with auto shut off
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
