Allows the DVR to be used without a cigarette lighter socket. It has three connections: battery (always on), ground, and accessory (turns on when the key is turned). It's designed to connect to the fuse box, but that just wasn't practical in my car, so I cut the fuse. Plug and reconnected it closer to the stereo wiring harness. What luck. Even then I had to reroute it twice to get enough wire to hide them in the moldings. The wire is too short. Also, for my comfort, the Wolfbox camera draws too much power when it's off, so I connected both cables to the accessory. The camera works fine in this mode.
