Review on πŸ›Ά Aluminum Boat Ladder - DotLine 3-Step Gunwale Hook Design by Eric Jenkins

Ideal solution for high gunwale

The jump from the side of my boat to the dock is quite large. This is a jump of about 3 feet. This makes the connection difficult. It was the perfect solution. It fits well. It tilts away from the boat at about a 25-30 degree angle, which is fine as it gets you right over the dock. It doesn't reach the pier. He is durable. However, all boats have different heights and gunwale angles. Check your boat's gunwale height. This ladder falls 2 1/2 feet to the side. If your boats have a short gunwale it may hit the pier but it will still work aft. One downside that I anticipated in advance was that since the angle on my boat is about 30 degrees off the side of the boat (on my Bayliner) the plastic protectors also hit my boat at an acute angle. I didn't want to risk it scratching the side of my boat. So I made a flat piece of plastic to connect the 2 pins and distribute the weight to the sides. No scratches. It worked fine.
