Well made and durable.

Worked great on my uncle's boat. Very well made and very strong. He had a hard time getting back into his bass boat after making a mistake in the water. It worked great with a few modifications. It's just under 12 inches where the ladder hooks to the edge of the boat. His boat has a wider gunwale (12 inches) so he could place it where he wanted but could find fasteners to bolt it on. a cannon trail into which a ladder falls. He also had to modify the extensions to be straight when lifted, but…

Better Than Nothing

Well, just hang overboard the boat. Even small waves can trip and swim away. Only 1 in 5 people who tried to get back on the boat after being scalloped were able to use it successfully. The collapsible legs kept collapsing and it was a bit short for most people to get back on their feet while holding the boat. It didn't break while using it and I weigh 250 pounds so that's a plus. Ideal solution for high gunwale

The jump from the side of my boat to the dock is quite large. This is a jump of about 3 feet. This makes the connection difficult. It was the perfect solution. It fits well.
