I've read several reviews listing the quality of Cole & Mason and tried another set from the same manufacturer but they don't match the reports or my agree experience. The box is pretty, but it just makes the recycling look impressive. As for the grinder, the salt copes with dignity, but the pepper is not enough. I have the coarsest setting and have to shake constantly to get the pepper out. Luckily they were on sale so it's a little easier to endure the disappointment when I come back looking for a new set.
