I call these things three-leaf LED bulbs. I recently got Beyond Bright on sale at Bed Bath and Beyond, claimed 3500 lumens 40 watts. I also got this DooVii lamp from Revain, 5500 lumens and 55 watts for a good price. Lumens are a measure of overall light output and are difficult for the average person to measure. But we have light meters that measure lux, which is the intensity of light falling on a point. So I realize that although the advertised lumens are 10% higher, the effective light delivered is 25% lower. So the Beyond Bright lamp is much better (and it has an on/off switch). But DooVii uses less power and is cheaper. The Beyond Bright light has a much sturdier construction with metal fender heatsinks rather than just plastic.
