Review on 🏞️ Outdoor Warehouse Backyard - Equivalent Daylight by Maurice Stavros

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not quite as promised. yet cheap, bright light and easy to install.

I call these things three-leaf LED bulbs. I recently got Beyond Bright on sale at Bed Bath and Beyond, claimed 3500 lumens 40 watts. I also got this DooVii lamp from Revain, 5500 lumens and 55 watts for a good price. Lumens are a measure of overall light output and are difficult for the average person to measure. But we have light meters that measure lux, which is the intensity of light falling on a point. In this case, for me, the analogy where I'm standing wings down directly under each bulb and the meter is at belt level is appropriate for consistency. Simple old ceiling lamps with porcelain bulbs. Okay, Beyond Bright measured 43 watts instead of the advertised 40 watts and produced 480 lux below that at waist height. ), but only produced 350 lux at the same spot below the lamp at waist height. So I realize that although the advertised lumens are 10% higher, the effective light delivered is 25% lower. So the Beyond Bright lamp is much better (and it has an on/off switch). But DooVii uses less power and is cheaper. The Beyond Bright light has a much sturdier construction with metal fender heatsinks rather than just plastic.

Pros
  • βœ”30,000 HOURS LIFETIME - With an incredible lifespan of 30,000 hours or 16 years at 5 hours of use per day, changing lightbulbs is a thing of the past.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
