These real natural sandstone coasters work very well. Nice and fat. They drink water in drops as soon as it leaves the glass. Due to the naturally porous nature of sandstone, it won't stick to glass like other cheap ceramic or designer coasters. Just keep in mind that not all will look like the sample photo. I have a set of tan coasters and a set of rust colored coasters. I like Tan best. goes with almost everything. Note: Only buy natural sandstone coasters. I have had issues with Thirstystone coasters that have designs painted on them such as the Sun design and the Geode design. They were so beautiful but they had to be returned because the painted pattern would not allow water to seep into the base, defeating their purpose.
