We've had these coasters for about 6 months now. My husband drinks very cold drinks, so his glasses sweat a lot, especially in summer. The coasters soaked up all the moisture really well so we didn't have any drips etc. The cork bottom keeps them in place well - my hair is slightly slanted but it stays in place without sliding down the slope. They are very beautiful and we are very happy with them.

Conclusion: Chic natural stone, thick floors. Pros + Nice looks + Good feel and weight Cons - Stains over time, a few drops of chlorine and a quick brush will bring them back it can stick and they will drop it on the floor. They will shatter or break in half if dropped on hard ground, so don't use coasters or silicone coasters for your clumsy friends. Expect some damage to the edges, understand that this is a real stone carving in this form.

For those buying for aesthetics and worried about pink, please do a quick google "sandstone". Natural stone can be any of these colors. Remember that swirl patterns and colors are UNIQUE for each item. Complaining that you don't look EXACTLY like the picture is ridiculous. These real natural sandstone coasters work very well. Nice and fat. They drink water in drops as soon as it leaves the glass. Due to the naturally porous nature of sandstone, it won't stick to glass like other cheap ceramic or designer coasters. Just keep in mind that not all will look like the sample photo. I like them, I'd like them in different colors or with a pattern on them. They absorb water from the sweat on my glass. I drink water with a lot of ice, so a lot of moisture comes out of the glass and usually leaves big wet stains on my table. Other coasters no longer stack and then overflow instead of go, they absorb moisture. I highly recommend them.
