I didn't think I was going to get a chance to try these in the mud this year. Last week was my first mow of the season, but it is unseasonably dry this year. So I only got to test these on the hills. But I was impressed. Going around trees on steep hills, or even just going downhill always required backward wheel spin to slow or steer. Not with these on. So much more control and confidence. Ascents are not really this machine's forte, but even those seemed to require less power and give a little better control. Also, I expected a little less sure footedness on side-hills. I haven't noticed any at all.But today I got to try these in the sticky, gooey black mud that is the real reason I bought them. Typically this time of year I have to fire up my agricultural tractor to pull the zero-turn out of the mud a few time each mow. This time, I barely had any wheel spin. I never had to firewall both controllers and pray it didn't just lose traction completely or all on one wheel and turn me 180 degrees back into the goo. That sphincter tightening experience seems to be a thing of the past. I just cruised right through the mud, almost as if it wasn't there.Additionally, this product fits where normal chains never would. The tires are so close to the mower deck that a normal chain would hang up.Thank you for this product. Very impressed. Wish I had found them years ago.
