Review on Cortelco 2554 Black Wall Corded Telephone with Volume Control - Efficient Communication Solution by Alicia Moore

Not durable and solid at all. I was hoping for a little more weight than the cell phones of the past. The sound quality crackles and wheezes. The cord slides into the phone and you have to dig it out to plug it into the wall. I don't know if there's a cord pulled in or if it's just cheap, but I have to wiggle it to get the dial tone and I don't have to do it with other phones I've tried with the same connector. In general I will not buy again, but for now I will use it. The only positive flaw is that you can completely disable the ringer. It makes a clicking sound but no tinnitus (which I like, but not when the baby is sleeping).
