I was hesitant to buy just because I wasn't sure it would look like the original part. I'm glad I bought it because it looks amazing. The original only cracked after years of leaning against it. I ended up ordering it and replacing it. It's looking a lot better now. The paint pops up and doesn't crack! The only problem I had was closing, but that's because the foam on the new one goes around the hinge. If you see the original you can see it was cut for my truck. To be honest it's not a big problem as it's still closing. You just have to close it a little tighter. I still like it and am glad I bought it. It comes with parts that you may or may not need to replace, so that was a very nice touch. It took me about 30 minutes to remove the old one and replace it with the new one. I still felt like I could have done it faster if I hadn't been distracted.
