Based on the reviews I thought I was getting a decent quality product. Said 24k finish looks like the gold paint you get when you buy a can of 99 cent gold paint. I doubt it will make much of a difference since the paint is applied to cheap plastic. I spent 45 minutes plugging this junk into my TV, but the poor quality of the plug means it won't click into place. I was able to connect one end to the soundbar, but unlike any other optical cable I've ever used, it was a very weak connection. Save yourself the heartache and don't go back to Revain. Buy something else.
