Review on πŸ§‚ KaryHome Plastic Mini Salt and Pepper Shakers: Convenient Travel Spice Containers for Seasoning (Multicolor) by Chris Russell

Save room for salt shakers

I love these spice containers; I use them in my RV. I like that they are not glass and not easy to break. They definitely save space and look attractive at the same time. I threw it in the water to check the seal for leaks and no water got into the reservoir. The holes on the top of the shaker are small. For larger spices you will need to use a larger hole or in some cases remove the lid. I am very happy with it and have already reordered twice. The price has gone from $13 to $15 since I bought them. At $13 the value seems good enough to consider buying, but at $15 I doubt it. In the $9-$10 price range, they would be very inexpensive and competitive with other products available. I thought they could be a good gift, especially for people living in a small space. With brown tops, expect the plastic to become cloudy. This has been mentioned in other reviews and is an issue for some. I have no problem with this as they all match and the vertices are still not very visible. What catches the eye are the highly visible spices and their bright colors. As for marking, I now use easily removable and replaceable frog masking tape. I cut the ribbon into strips after writing the name of the spice on the ribbon. I turn the labeled side back so I can see the spice and not the label. (I've been cooking for many years and usually recognize the spice by its appearance.) This method of labeling is very adaptable, variable, and works well for me. Great space saving product!
