Easy installation, most of the time had to hide wires

After researching a truck radio and watching installation videos I decided to go down this route. Installation took less than 30 minutes as I was replacing another product I was using that didn't really have the best sound quality. So far I've been able to listen to music, make and receive calls, and hear navigation directions from my phone through the speakers. I found nothing bad to say about this product. The only thing I had trouble with was finding a place to install it. I routed the wiring from the stereo to the unit behind the dash where the radio is and installed it on the floor under the dash to the right of the gas pedal. The wiring is long enough and some to do this. Then I routed the mic cable under the carpet and behind the plastic on the stand and under the ceiling, there was still a lot of cable left over, I just rolled it up and tucked it under the carpet. I bought another phone charger cable and routed it behind the dash to keep it looking neat. The device only charges your phone when the radio is on. You have to wait about 30 seconds for your phone and device to connect, but it will connect automatically.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • poorly thought out
