Great way to add Bluetooth functionality to an aging car

Works great! I like it better than the iSimple Gateway I bought for another car. I would have preferred if the system didn't say "connected" at startup, but it really isn't very annoying. I haven't had any connection problems so far (I've had a lot of problems with iSimple Gateway). The sound quality is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to add Bluetooth capabilities to their vehicle.

Pros
  • Got it!
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works mostly as advertised

I installed this on my 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. It automatically connects to my phone and starts playing the last Spotify song I listened to after I start the car and click search. The steering wheel controls work with volume but not with skipping a track. The search button on the standard radio skips tracks. The song displayed appears to be the first song played and does not change thereafter. No degradation in sound quality. In general it does what I need without too much nonsense.

  • Easy to read control panel

Works great for 90 days. Garbage service from the manufacturer

Has worked perfectly for 90 days. Then it died. The manufacturer will not honor the warranty as it is from Revain. Although the seller is their verified seller. Avoid. Update: The manufacturer sent me several antagonistic emails, including sarcasm and other unprofessional language, in response to my request to honor their warranty. They told me that a Ford dealer would not service a car bought from another dealer 90 days after purchase. They clearly don't understand guarantees and behave like a

Great concept.

Connected to a 2006 Mustang with no problems, but not compatible with S5. Wrote to usaspec support. Will be updated when corrected. Update 1: I called the retailer for usaspec's phone number as it is not on their website. Was very impressed with their support and gave another star. He gave me something to try, if not he said to replace it. Will update again after I try or replace the suggestion. Note for 2006 Mustang owners: If your radio doesn't have an mp3 logo (I do) this will not work…

Exactly what I wanted and works great!

What can I say? works great for me! I installed this on a 2005 Ford F150 with a factory radio (with the MP# logo on the radio and no satellite radio). I routed the mic under the dash and placed it just below the speedometer. It sounds great to everyone else on the other end. Anyway, I didn't want a microphone that big to be attached to the headliner. I also added a remote plug for the USB charging port and a 1/4" jack. It should be noted that the output voltage for USB charging is very low, so…

Easy installation, most of the time had to hide wires

After researching a truck radio and watching installation videos I decided to go down this route. Installation took less than 30 minutes as I was replacing another product I was using that didn't really have the best sound quality. So far I've been able to listen to music, make and receive calls, and hear navigation directions from my phone through the speakers. I found nothing bad to say about this product. The only thing I had trouble with was finding a place to install it. I routed the…

Impeccable Performance - Bluetooth Car Kits

Installed in 2005 Factory Ford Five Hundred Stereo (Six Speaker System) with 'MP3' logo on front. Make sure your stereo has this logo, there were several versions in 2005, some compatible some not. Installation was very easy, 2 plug and go connectors, no splicing or extra power/ground jumpers. We routed the mic cable around and up, following the antenna cable's route behind the glove box (passenger's side) until we could protrude through the dash and it was just long enough to return to the…
