Easy to turn on Easy to turn off. in stairs

I was intrigued by the idea that the stair post could be easily installed and removed and the different lengths of the post sections. I need to get to the corner of my gutter that is leaking and the only way to get there would be with this gap as the normal corner gap is too short for the wide ledge in my 85 year old two story attic. Old house. I bought a "Multipro" version with corner posts. I also bought 24" skids. One thing I noticed was that the support sections (straight) are made of 1" emt (electrical wire). I think you could make your own extensions yourself if you have a drill press (like me) so you can drill the exact holes for the extensions to fit in and line up with the main frame tube holes. The assembly went smoothly after reading the instructions and details. Another situation is that this strong stand is significantly heavier than a traditional stand with a pole. I have three ladders, a 17 foot multi-position ladder and 20 and 28 foot extension ladders. The 28 foot ladder is almost unwieldy (for my 66 year old body) to raise and lower alone when using this rack and I have to extend the ladder to its full working length to reach the top of my roof. Because of this, I am seriously considering returning it. Before I make a decision, I'll see if the corner sections are far enough away from my wide overhang that I can get to that hard-to-reach gutter, and if so, I'll leave it. Overall, the versatility and robust construction of the Ladder Max Multi Pro makes it a worthy addition to your stair accessory set, especially if the added weight of its design isn't an impediment to your application.
