Excellent bags. I will buy again.

This is the first time I buy such packages. I just got around to using it yesterday. I'm glad I chose her. I looked at a lot of them on the Revain and didn't want the type that had flaps down the long sides. They fastened without additional plastic tabs and I thought they were softer on the lips and they were. lol I don't know about other brands on Revain but it seems like the sweetness of this plastic is quite durable although I remember the old Icee Pops that came in a long tube where the plastic was thicker. I didn't expect them to be so easy to fill, but I found the best way for me and it was easy to fill. Actually it was fun. The funnel that came with the bags wasn't the best way to fill them in my opinion. I took one of my medium sized (hard plastic) funnels and cut off most of the bottom spout to make a bigger hole because my smoothie mix had chopped fruit in it. First, I put the sachet in an old large vinegar bottle with a 1" hole at the top to hold the sachet, but found I didn't even need it. All I had to do was bring the pouch to the funnel spout with my thumb and three other fingers, with my index finger at the top of the funnel to secure it. I used a small spoon and poured my mixture into the funnel up to the line. It's a lot easier to see the line when the bag wasn't in the bottle. Then I took the bag out of the funnel and placed the funnel in a clean cup to catch any drips, closed the bag, rinsed the drip bag and placed it in the tall cup. I've only made 28, but so far none of the packs have leaked. An important note: do not try to unzip the bag by pulling the two flaps apart. It's too hard and stretches the plastic. It's hard to explain, but I'll try anyway. To unzip a bag, simply press your index finger and thumb firmly against either side of the zipper and open the bag by sliding your finger back and forth along the zipper. The zipper opens and also separates the plastic layers of the tube for easier filling. Conclusion. If I need more I will buy these packs.
