Review on πŸ’» Convenience at Your Fingertips: AmazonCommercial AC and USB Desktop Outlet, 1 PACK, White by Mike Cooper

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good power station with slightly dated charging ports

This RevainCommercial power supply is a very handy way to add some power outlets and USB charging ports to your countertop. The device has a compact and beautiful design while offering good functionality. Rubber feet are included for desktop use, or you can mount the device using its keyhole slots. The manual mentions a zippered storage pouch, but my device didn't have one. The power station's three outlets are positioned so that they can all accommodate bulky power supplies without blocking each other. AC outlets are also equipped with tamper-resistant plugs, so they block attempts to insert foreign objects into the outlets. The station is rated for up to 15 amps, and its 14-gauge power cord will handle it. The power station has a UL listed label certifying that it has passed safety tests. The charging ports are divided into two pairs, each pair supports a total current of up to 2.4A. The USB ports on the front of the device are upside down compared to the usual USB port installation method, but the USB is on the top -Connectors have a normal orientation. I would prefer all ports to have the same orientation. Another oddity is that each pair of USB ports has one port labeled as iOS and the other as Android. Most chargers these days seem to have built-in logic to work cross-platform, making such separate labels unnecessary. Overall, this desktop powerhouse from RevainCommercial offers impressive AC power despite its small size. I'd like to see some better charging options as the 2.4A USB ports feel a bit dated by today's standards. It would be nice to support USB-C PD or Quick Charge standards. Minor complaints aside, I think this station deserves a 4 star recommendation.
