Review on Unleash Versatile Performance with Frankford Arsenal Universal Construction Functionality by Adam Tidd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really good but for hand and power tools

Let me start by saying that it is amazingly accurate and gives unexpected repeatable results. Pretty quick and easy to set up. Therefore it is not a 5 star product and maybe not worth buying. 1) Everything works with the shank of the tools, which has some punch. The fact is that your size has some fluctuations. It's not bad, but noticeable. 2) 2 camps - nonsense. With this tool, you will feel the cutting action when the smooth body is cut. Is my job done? Yes, the bearings are loose. Sealed Japanese bearings are required - $30-40 per pair. 3) The cutting head is OK. After 500 shots, it becomes dull and knocks on the sleeve. RCBC sells a $32 carbide cutter, mine will be here today. I hope it fits. In summary, everyone is planning to get this $150 thing. It has to be a really good instrument. If for some reason a carbide cutter doesn't fit due to thread mismatch, I'll return everything and buy a Dillon trimmer for my 750. My wallet will feel a pain, but my hands should be pain-free after using tools like this.

Pros
  • USER FRIENDLY: Universal collet system indexes on sleeve arms ensure accurate and consistent trimming
Cons
  • Not sure
