Review on โšก Lisle 64970 Parasitic Drain Tester: Detect and Solve Battery Drain Issues with Ease by Michael Boonme

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great product but the instructions could be better.

I haven't tested this with a 12 volt battery because I'm not sure the instructions are correct. I switched on the 9v battery and tested it with my multimeter following the instructions provided, which means you flip the switch ๐Ÿ“ด to use your meter. I couldn't measure any voltage, but I turned on the switch and it read 9 volts. It would be more correct to turn off the switch when you put your cords in the cord holders, then turn on the switch to let the current flow, then read the power consumption, of course, to give each awakened force time to sleep and go only the parisian culprit must draw to show his hand. I appreciate your comments which I am sure will be helpful. My theory is: disconnect the negative terminal and connect the drain tester to the battery negative terminal and the battery negative cable with the drain tester off, then connect the cables from the multimeter, turn on the drain tester, wait few minutes and turn on the multimeter, then read the meter reading. Results in minutes. If there is a Paris train, the meter wires must be removed and every fuse checked to trace the train back to its source. The reason I didn't use this is because I replaced a bad battery. I'm keeping my Lisle Tester because I think it's a great product. I hope this helps someone.
