This housing will cause some IR distortion, resulting in a complete blackout of the image. Mounting the housing about 1/4 inch from the edge of the camera eliminates the distortion. The camera images show how to mount the camera according to the instructions {left} and the others show how I set it up {right}. The other two images are screenshots from the video with the case installed as instructed {right} and the case adjusted {left}. I don't know if there is some kind of IR reflection off the body or what, but it renders the camera unusable if left unadjusted. I'd like to hear someone's opinion on what might be causing this effect. I would give the case 5 stars if it didn't cause this distortion. it has some protection, such as B. under a canopy or other cover.
