I can't learn the lesson of Chinese electronics

This thing is huge, both in height and thickness. You need 12 inches of vertical depth to install it, and then a whirlpool is created on the surface since the outlet is at the very top: it's much better to put it at least 18 inches deep, if not deeper. Pros: 1) Quiet. if it works. In my experience, this is not very common. 2) It's cheap, like most other Chinese stuff at Revain. Cons: 1) It has to be vertical to walk. It doesn't work on the side or upside down. 2) Because the outlet is at the top, it churns up the surface water like a torrent. Maybe that's what you want. Maybe not. 3) Works intermittently, turns off for no apparent reason. Give it a hit and it starts again. Once in a while. 4) On the rare occasions it runs for more than a few seconds, it creates a huge overflow, too large for a sub-40 gallon tank. It is best suited for a very large tank, e.g. B. Over 100 gallons. 5) It won't turn off and on again - if yours works, don't turn it off - it probably won't start again. Like my. 6) Don't place it near a source of bubbles because it will suck them in, where they will build up and then be periodically expelled with sudden powerful bursts. 18" deep, let it straight in. Once you've started it, never turn it off. If that's your use case, you'll probably be happy with it. under 40 gallons, avoid this monstrous big thing at all costs. Oh and the product support email is a snazzy hotmail address yes hot mail this is not just a nigerian prince scam anymore.
