The torch neck where the flame is ignited has two cylindrical sections. The outer material, workmanship and/or design are defective. The torch generates heat, but this mouthpiece, which swells and cools with changes in temperature, quickly detached from the inner cylinder that houses the incendiary tip. So the butane caught the spark wrong. I had to constantly adapt. Then he collapsed. I guess it's my fault I had to send it back to the company for repair the first week the first part failed. In any case I am disappointed as it was easy to use, refill and set up and I liked the single flame torch better than the other dual torch I have which gives everything the taste and smell of butane. Maybe you have better luck.
