Hmmm. Last review in my review.
The part to be closed seems very very long and my daughter can just close it at the last edge. I think they are great for chubby kids, skinny kids might have some problems. We ordered size 12 for our 4 year old. It's just outgrown the €27/$11.5 size. We only wear sandals. I would say the shoes are good if your kid has swollen ankles or wide ankles or something.

- Cheap quality, the soles are hardly glued, so something gets under the soles and never gets completely clean.
