This charger is advertised as a 30 watt charger, same as the wall charger but significantly slower. Where a conventional charger takes less than an hour, it takes 1.5 hours. There are also problems when your battery dies completely, it does not charge or start, the phone charges and turns on after about 5 minutes. I've also noticed my battery runs less after I started using this charger, hopefully it doesn't kill my battery. The charger itself gets very hot, it is made of cast alloy and gets too hot to touch after 20 minutes of charging.
