Perfect Etrike tires - easy to install

hot water directly, soak for 5 minutes, then started the first one. I had to dip the last 16 inches or so back into the water for 90 seconds to get the last bit on but the second one soaked first and while the first one was in place it wasn't a problem so left them about 10 minutes soak and them I honestly had fewer problems with them than regular tires due to the slight split. I used 4 large zip ties (start with 1, then fasten your progress every 12" or so around the rim on the 26" per tire configuration and two 11" steel tire scoops. Zero problems. Note that the gripping groove at the first time you mount it, it may not fit properly in the rim, just grab it tightly and push/wiggle it back and forth and it will fall in, no problem for me (it was still warm, I did it right after putting the last tire on the rim) and i have a severe lack of upper body strength i seriously can barely lift a 20 lb sack of cat food i haven't put them back on the bike yet will update if i have any ride/durability issues but im Right now they get 5 stars from me because they are very strong like a 60psi tire and easy to fit Update I've been riding them for a few weeks now and I love them! They still look brand new looking, no wear and tear (my etrike has been eating regular tires for 2-5 weeks) and my trike now feels much more stable. I can take corners and corners at much higher speeds than in air travel because the tires retain their shape and hardness (extremely hard), which doesn't allow the center of gravity to shift, as inflatable tires deform easily in higher speed corners and corners. There's a bit more noise, especially on rough roads or hard hits, but it's worth ignoring for the extra durability and stability these tires offer.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
