I wanted to buy a similar product right away, but the savings were worth it. The "hardware" that comes with the kit isn't very strong, so be prepared to buy a few parts. Besides using different fittings, this pump works great with a water source like rain barrels. I have used it with a simple square shape passive sprinkler (pressure actuated) and a passive arc sprinkler which is also pressure actuated. Both types worked great to get the maximum distance. I was surprised to see that this pump can use over 50 gallons in 30 minutes. I also use it to apply liquid fertilizer with a 26+ oz container of Spray Hose Liquid Concentrate. Be sure to "fill" it with a full amount of water. It gets "noisy" when its water source is low, which is a good thing.
