I waited to review this tent until I felt I had experience recommending it. I love this tent. I have great confidence in my Timberline tent and do not regret the purchase (it has more than paid for itself for my purposes). It survived a straight line hurricane in Wyoming where after 2 or 3 hours I was so sure the tarpaulin ripped that I left camp and fell asleep in my truck. The tent was 100% ok, it was me who was stressed. It's incredibly roomy (mine's a 4 seater) and the short X-bar that opens up headroom is incredibly useful. The zippers are strong, very smooth, and fairly quiet. The flaps are intelligently designed. It took me a lot of travel to appreciate some of their design features. It opens quickly and the bars are still holding up and showing no signs of wear. I've loaned it out twice to high school students for week-long trips and it came back unworn. All in all I can't think of a single comment when looking for a long term camping tent.
