Instructions are confusing, had to change
For 1/2" copper pipe sticking out of the wall (1/2" copper pin). Instructions are very poorly written, doubt who wrote them even installed one. However, when tightening the plastic extension onto the plastic adapter with an O-ring in between, the "molded hole" for the screw ends up on the wrong side. The hole is on the opposite side of the formed hole. It worked. no leak. The quality of the spout itself is good and looks good and the diverter works well.
