Review on πŸ”₯ Steel Anti-Slip Two-Story Fire Escape Ladder, Black - First Alert EL52-2 by Joe Calabro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

TEACHING OUR KIDS TO PREPARE has been invaluable and they love experiencing the fire training :-)

Our home is three stories, the ground floor is semi-subterranean, we have 10 foot ceilings and the bedrooms are on the third Floor. We have 10 ft ceilings plus 5 ft subfloor which is 25 ft from bedroom windows to floor. This ladder was an easy purchase for my husband and I. We have one in each of our bedrooms. As a family we had LOTS of fire drills where each of the kids practiced attaching a ladder to the window and climbing down. Our neighbors are used to it. In fact, after seeing the fire drill a few times, our neighbors bought ladders too. As for age. Our youngest was 4 when we first practiced fire alarms (I should note that the first few times my husband helped each of the children and for the younger ones I was in the bedroom and he was on the floor on the stairs to help them to help ). This ladder taught our kids not to be afraid because we are ready, worth every penny! The ladder is solid. The heaviest person we had on it weighed 250 pounds. Just a few notes about the product. We store it next to/under the bed near the window. If you look at the blue strap in the picture, it closes with velcro and forms a ladder carry handle - it's very light.
