This product looks good, is packaged well and is the lowest cost SFP+ I could find. However, this module is not suitable for my application which uses the SFP+ WAN2 port on the UXG-PRO to connect to a home cable modem (Netgear CM2000) at 2.5Gbps. Although the connection indicators looked fine, my gateway was unable to obtain an IP address from my ISP (Comcast Xfinity). I was also unable to log into my cable modem which meant the connection between my UXG-PRO and CM2000 was not working properly. . I had to dig a little more; This SFP+ should only be used for 10-10g connections.
