I bought a pair of these transceivers to use with Mikrotik CSS326 switches. The switches have been updated to the latest firmware v2.12 at the time of writing and correctly detect the transceiver as Flypro SFP-10GT-MT-30M Rev A0. They feel warm under normal loads, which is to be expected since 10GBase-T transceivers tend to get hot, especially under load. Connected easily at 10Gbps to my QNAP QSW-408 switch with Cat 7 copper cable at a distance of 15-20m. They are also connected with 10Gbps Cat

I'm new to 10GB so wasn't quite sure what to buy. But this transceiver works well with a 50 foot Category 7 (flat) barrel. I use it between MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+IN (one in the basement where my mini data center is and one upstairs where my workstation is). Just hooked up a transceiver to each switch and then a Category 7 cable and it worked with no problems. It's amazing how the new Category 7 flat cable is much less intrusive than the old Category 6 round cable it replaced, yet is 10x faster!

The product was packaged in a pretty tin can with a sliding lid. The can was lined with foam and the sfp went in tight. Plug this into my Mikrotik CRS328-24P-4S + RM (love that naming scheme lol) and on the other end into a Ubiquiti Unifi Dream Machine Pro with a similar SFP transceiver. Unlike my UDMP, it gets pretty hot in Mikrotik, but I've read that's common with Mikrotik switches. Will buy again in the future as I gradually move my home to 10Gbe.

So I don't write Revain reviews - just wanted to say I was flagged pink when I plugged it in and it the speed negotiated 2.5 Gbps with my new Netgear CM2000 cable modem. I used to not be able to get Comcast's full 1180Mbps over a 1Gbps connection, and I had an Arris SB8200 keeping two 1Gbps links "connected", but that never worked properly. about this SFP module… I was looking to buy a Mikrotik module but not only is it more expensive but Revain had this FLYPRO module in stock for next day…

This product looks good, is packaged well and is the lowest cost SFP+ I could find. However, this module is not suitable for my application which uses the SFP+ WAN2 port on the UXG-PRO to connect to a home cable modem (Netgear CM2000) at 2.5Gbps. Although the connection indicators looked fine, my gateway was unable to obtain an IP address from my ISP (Comcast Xfinity). I was also unable to log into my cable modem which meant the connection between my UXG-PRO and CM2000 was not working properly.

Although SFP+ modules are not officially supported, my Aruba s2500 switch recognizes the Ubiquiti UF-RJ45-10G version of this device perfectly. They auto-negotiate a full 10Gb/s connection speed, and file transfers can almost maximize connection speeds, although my cable is close to the 100-foot limit. As expected, they get pretty hot, but it's not that hot, which is a problem. Overall I'm very happy with it.
