Review on 🔌 FLYPROFiber 10G SFP+ to RJ45 Copper Module for Arista SFP+ – 10GBase-T RJ45 to SFP Connector Transceiver for Arista Networks SFP-10GE-T, CAT6A/CAT7, up to 100FT (30M) by Mack Cruz

I'm new to 10GB so wasn't quite sure what to buy. But this transceiver works well with a 50 foot Category 7 (flat) barrel. I use it between MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+IN (one in the basement where my mini data center is and one upstairs where my workstation is). Just hooked up a transceiver to each switch and then a Category 7 cable and it worked with no problems. It's amazing how the new Category 7 flat cable is much less intrusive than the old Category 6 round cable it replaced, yet is 10x faster! Unfortunately 2 transceivers plus $20 for cable is $100 :(
