Review on RP46074 Cartridge Replacement Parts for Type P Shower Valve - 13 14 Series Bathroom Faucet Repair, Bathtub Shower Universal Valve Cartridge Assembly by Bob Berry

I have two identical Delta showers side by side. One leaked. It looked like a decent solution. This fixed the leak, but even after setting the cartridge to the hottest setting, the water is barely warm, while the original next to it is 3 clicks from the cartridge's hottest setting and is nice and hot. This is especially important in winter. I'll have to turn the water back off now and do this repair to see if I can salvage the front half of the old unit, or I'd be better off just dicing the other cartridge as a whole - most likely a real Delta part, to ensure the correct water mix.
