I have a much more expensive laminator that works fantastic. However, I didn't break it transporting it between class and home. I took a chance and bought Merce. It works just as well as my more expensive product. This product has cold and hot options. I haven't used it cold but the hot version is perfect. This product is limited as it only has two options, hot or cold. And he doesn't have 3, 4, 5 mile rules. I've used 3 and 5 with no problems. Finally, this product does not have an instant shut-off feature. If I consider what I use in class, it's not a problem, when I need to finish a project quickly. Great product for the price.
