Suits me: Tone

I hate soft tone. I had the original sculptor and I hated him. It was too soft and fell apart after baking. Well this thing is amazing. Sure, it's tough as hell when you first work with it, but after you've rolled it and softened it, it's perfect. It doesn't get super soft and you need strong hands. I can't mix my mica powders perfectly, so after a little test I don't even bother. I found I had to change my knee technique to make it work. I usually rip the clay apart and glue it back together, but that doesn't work with Kato. I had to roll it into a ball, roll it up and fold it, and then roll it back up. It takes a little while, but it works. I've also found that it's a lot easier to make a tentacle earring with this clay because I can rock it to stretch it out more instead of twisting it. I like it, but you need strong arms and flexibility. A little patience is also good.
