Review on Canon EOS EF USM Lens 22-55mm f/4.0-5.6 by Montrell Copeland

This lens wasn't designed to be a truly outstanding lens, but it does deliver acceptable sharpness. The 22mm to 55mm zoom range of a full frame camera is very useful for landscape, architectural and group shots. Ultrasonic focus is fairly fast and accurate. While the optical quality falls short of a fancy Canon luxury lens, at f/8 it's every bit as good as most for a lot less money. The weight is also very light, making it easy to carry. I find this lens handy for all but the most critical of situations.
