So my daughter had a different brand training collar and it wasn't practical at all and she didn't even feel anything. She managed to get mad and climb on top of my dresser to rip it open once I started using the shock I'm trying to avoid but she's starting to get out of hand and I feel like that she is doing it on purpose. I kept telling her it's ok, I know you don't like it but until you do something right we will keep using it. I assured her we would replace it fairly quickly. Well... I waited a few months before getting another one to see if it was a behavioral issue or something. Ever since she broke the other collar and it couldn't be repaired, she's always retaliated at my house 😂🤦🏽‍♀️. She is potty trained and follows a meal plan that leaves her free to do as she pleases. She purposely poops right next to my bed every time I decide she can't sleep with me, and walks around like she's the boss if I don't give her what she wants, when she wants it. She also thinks she decides what she eats, although obviously she doesn't buy food 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ and has now decided to throw away her bowl of food and water if I don't give her treats due to misconduct. Dad and I spoiled them both, yes! So the RULES HERE DO NOT apply to them. However, we do not condone this at all. When she goes potty she also likes to run up to complete strangers and will NOT listen to me or dad while I act like a horrible mom chasing her like I'm a stranger 😂 I'm just completely embarrassed! BUT... TODAY... this collar ARRIVED! Such a beautiful thing I was so excited about and oh my god isn't it 😂. As soon as I put it on her, she already knew what it was from what she had before. Oh, now she wants to be BFF! I did nothing but press the beep and vibrate when she got aroused by the people outside to keep her from running away... now she's becoming alert. She knows from past experience that I will not tolerate this naïve and defiant behavior and the only way to control it is with a collar. Today she has eaten every meal with no trash, she has been potty training and laying on the floor beautifully when I decided she can't lie with me and now wants to play and is acting so happy I feel that it's a way to focus. from the collar. Oh no baby I won't forget, I'm watching you closely 😂. I am so confused with her because she is really smart and knows exactly how this thing works and I hate when I have to get a product that scares her to do it right which is crazy. This thing is definitely the right tool. I like this product more than the brand I had before because the collar and device are not fully attached. That is... if she chews her collar; It can be swapped out and the device is still useful with a different collar, which saves me money!
