Review on TOPOINT 3 in 1 Mini Displayport DP Thunderbolt to HDMI DVI VGA Adapter Cable for MacBook Air, Old MacBook/MacBook Pro Pre-Mid 2015 by Sean Copeland

I chose this device because it has 4 ways to use it versus 3 that most other devices have, although my actual use is just for the connector of a monitor to a VGA port is for my new Intel NUC with dual miniports. But you never know what other models I may need to connect in the future, so the versatility is well received and the price difference is small. It was well packaged and I have to say it looks neat and of good quality. When I first connected it to the NUC and the monitor it worked fine. Then after turning the computer off and on again, the computer recognized the monitor but the monitor stayed blank. I wrote the seller a letter asking what to do as I thought the unit was defective. He replied in less than an hour and offered to send a new one or refund the money. Luckily this wasn't necessary because when I tried again and changed the miniports my monitors were plugged into, everything worked fine. I'm not sure, but I suspect the problem was not with the adapter but with the PC settings. Some people wrote (maybe not about this particular device) that their adapters stopped working after a while. I can't comment on that as it's his first day. But I don't see why that should happen if I don't plug and unplug it often. I really appreciate the seller's prompt response and offer to help with no issues even though I'm not in the US. I recommend this seller and product.
