I would recommend Nellvita's product if you need a cheap bike computer and don't want to spend more money on a bike computer with GPS, heart rate, fitness app sync and rechargeable batteries. But with smartphone apps or fitness trackers, you can bypass some of the features Nellvita lacks. Functions included: odometer, ride time, current ride distance, current speed, average ride speed, maximum ride speed, calorie burn, fat burn, stopwatch, ETA, time of day, temperature and water resistance. The computer also includes a setting to remind you to service your bike at regular intervals/kg and comes with a 12 month guarantee. Batteries are also included. Nellvita comes with two written guides - a short printed guide and a longer and more detailed printed guide. Nellvita also provides a link to a YouTube tutorial video. I had trouble setting up my computer and installing hardware with short guides and was able to find clarity with longer printed guides and videos. But the video moved quickly and I had to watch it multiple times to understand it. The fitting instructions include a table for easy wheel size conversion for computer input without manual calculations. It took me some experimentation to align the wheel sensor with the fork transmitter to get a speedometer reading without the transmitter touching the spokes. Wheel. The instructions show the transmitter on the side of the wheel, but the transmitter brushed my spokes when I mounted it that way. I was able to mount the transmitter at a slight angle to make it work without hitting the spokes. The computer/speedometer bracket attaches to the steering wheel and is tightened with a bolt and nut. The computer is placed in the bracket. The transmitter attaches to the bike fork with zip ties, and Nellvita offers some additional zip ties. I wasn't thrilled with the zip on the transmitter. But the tapes work. The Nellvita computer starts automatically after a few seconds of movement, or you can start it with the push of a button. The Nellvita computer is easy to read on the go. You can set up your computer to run through multiple readings as you drive. Nellvita does not have an "off" button; It turns off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity. The computer's backlight is bright and can be activated with the push of a button. I found that Nellvita accurately tracks speed and distance with little variation compared to a smartphone GPS app. The calorie burn stats on Nellvita were much higher than on my smartphone app paired with a heart rate monitor. But. I understand that estimates of calorie burn from gym equipment are inaccurate anyway. Although you cannot sync Nellvita with a fitness tracking app, Nellvita will store a cumulative total of your stats unless you clear the data. Nellvita's 12-month guarantee can be extended up to 24 months. After I bought the computer, Nellvita contacted me to make sure I was happy with the product. Nellvita stands behind its product and is committed to customer satisfaction. While I have had some issues with Nellvita as outlined above, some of which may be related to me, I have given Nellvita a 5 star rating based on what it offers for the price. I have not compared Nellvita to the more sophisticated and expensive bike computers on the market. If you're on a budget and want a pretty decent bike computer, Nellvita is a solid choice.
