Review on General Tools S1270 Gasket Punches by Justin Heynoski

With this set I keep thinking about the price; I've been using the kit at work for a long time to drill lots of bolt/bolt holes in LARGE (usually a few feet in diameter) gaskets made of really strong materials (various pressed fiber materials, sometimes aramid, from 3/16" to about 1/4 thick. 4". After a while the die head grew so much that I had to sand the sides to keep the pieces from flying off. I was about to give this review 4 stars but then I remembered the price; looking back I can't believe that this set survived what it had to go through! This group of punchers had no right to be subjected to this kind of abuse and he took it well. In fact it was still in use when I left the area so live it maybe still further by valiantly doing what should be a few hundred bucks to die and push.
