is it really regular?

Is that even from Barfly? I liked my Barfly 2.0 for use with Garmin 500/520. Since I wanted to attach a Gopro/Light&motion to the front of my Garmin, I ordered a Barfly 4 mini.1. Quality sucks compared to my 2.0. The 2.0 was solid hard plastic, but this 4 looks like cheap porous plastic by comparison. everything is fine, assemble. Hex nut?!?!?!?! No way, the 2.0 had a threaded brass bushing that stayed in the mount! I'm already disappointed with the 90% loss of quality from Tate Labs! I mean if I wanted that quality I could get a Chinese front mount for $3 from another site that sells cheap Chinese junk. To play around with this, I go through the Garmin menu. I press the bottom left button and boom, the Garmin device turned on the Barfly 4.0 and popped out. So glad I was lying on the carpet in my living room. My Garmin didn't fall, but if I was out it would bounce! Lesson learned! When pressing the menu buttons on the 520, hold the 520 with fingers and thumbs on either side! Conclusion: Barfly isn't as high quality as it used to be! Luckily my friend upgraded to an Edge 1000 so I got his old regular 2.0. Let's see if I can think of another way to attach my Light&motion urban 800 to the old version 2.0. I have several bikes. For most of the others, I don't care if they're overloaded. My road bike doesn't want an overloaded cockpit. I also want quality stuff on it. I think K-edge is the answer because Barfly has turned into something worse than Chinese junk!
