Good affordable chain tool

Works great! I had a chain on my bike with one link that didn't bend. With this tool I was able to remove and restore the link. The tool is decently built, although I would classify it more as a consumer than professional. For $10 and the few times I'll be using this tool, I'm pretty happy with the quality. Only criticism would be that there were no instructions included in the package. However, another reviewer (thanks to M&M K) wrote a decent guide that got me started. A few additional thoughts: Make sure the hollow thread screw is rotated to support the chain. If the chain is not fully supported, it can twist under pin pressure and break the pin. Also, when removing a complete connection (two adjacent contacts), remove the contacts in the same direction. Placing the pins in the same direction makes it easier to assemble the chain. When reassembling I used a tool to return the pins on the removed link to their nominal position before reconnecting the chain. A link with two pins held the chain while I pressed the back of the link. By the way, I paid for my chain tool. No discounts and no freebies.
