I have several Konoll knives. Although the packaging states that these are German knives, they are made in China. So far I've been very happy with the quality of all the knives I've had from this company. They seem well made and sturdy. I've noticed that several reviewers have mentioned their Konoll knives getting rusty. Maybe it's because they don't dry their knives after use? I'm not sure as I always clean and dry all my knives right after use. But if I notice similar issues in the future, I'll come back and update my reviews. But for now I'm a very happy customer. This 8 inch bread knife is great for slicing almost any type of bread or bagel. It is very sharp and well balanced. The handle is very ergonomic, so you don't have to worry about the knife slipping off when you're cutting something.
