I had to replace the valve after breaking the connector while removing the airbox. OEM parts were very expensive, and there were still many non-brand parts available from traditional auto parts suppliers. It was so cheap it seemed too good to be true but worth a try. The Revain listing includes the Volkswagen part number for my car and the picture looks correct. Although it's generic and doesn't have any identifying marks, it appears to be well made. The top and plug have very slight stamping and casting differences typical of aftermarket parts, but the bottom (shipped with the engine) looks identical. It fits perfectly and works perfectly and saved a lot of money.
