Review on ๐Ÿท Ullo Full Bottle Replacement Filters (10 Pack) - Selective Sulfite Technology for Preservative-Free Wine by Mary Hall

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I chose to buy Ullo filters (I chose to just buy replacement filters as I saw another comment about using a funnel instead of buying an expensive and difficult to use device for them that takes a lot cheaper and easier)

After carefully researching hangover product options for wine, I decided to buy Ullo filters (I decided to just buy replacement filters, as I saw another comment about using a funnel instead of buying an expensive and difficult to use device for them which was much cheaper and easier). For a hangover I say HANDS DOWN, this product WORKS. We've used the filter on a variety of different wine bottles ($10-$50) and haven't had a hangover every time we've used it (we drank the bottles non-stop to make sure there wasn't a placebo effect). The downside to using these filters is: 1) They change the taste of the wine, not improve it (I've read that some people thought it was like decanting, and that's just not true). The taste of the wine isn't as good as without the filter, so I wouldn't recommend it for more expensive bottles. 2) All or nothing. A filter fits into a bottle of wine. So if you only want to use it for one glass, you're wasting a pack and can't save the filter for later use. 3) Any wine not consumed that evening will not be kept. We tried filtering the wine and only drinking half the bottle (one glass at a time) and then sealing the rest of the wine, but the next day it was awful. Overall I would recommend using this product if you want to avoid a hangover. The product works for exactly that. For better quality bottles, decant and drink in moderation.
