Love the size of this mat and the fact that it's white for building my models. It protects most of my desktop and the white color makes it easier to see the small details on it. Unfortunately, making plastic models requires the use of various chemicals such as paints, solvents, and glue. After knocking over a full bottle of solvent glue, most of the mat bubbled up and dissipated before I could clean up the spill. The top layer of mat in the blister area has completely peeled off, leaving an uneven surface that makes it difficult to get clean cuts (not to mention, that she looks ugly now.
